NFL Week Four Props – Three Props for 1 O’clock Game

Two Games and Three Props!

Over the last few weeks, we have not offered any game props. We’ve got our first three Week Four NFL props. We think that these are winners. All of these Week Four NFL props are focused on the first group of games. We have three more later for the late-afternoon contests. We’ve got one prop for the Houston and Indianapolis game and two bets for Dallas and Detroit.

Prop 1: Houston Texans Under 2.5 TDs (-138)

Here’s how this props looks. In three games this season, the Texans have not scored more than two touchdowns. Houston was unable to do so against the NY Giants (23rd YPP allowed), New England Patriots (21st YPP allowed), and Tennessee Titans (19th YPP allowed). They now meet the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are tied for ninth in the league in yards-per-play given up. Plus, in their last two games, Indy has been tough against offense. They gave up just none points to the Washington Redskins and 20 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Another reason to go with this prop is the Houston D-line. It has struggled to protect QB Deshaun Watson. They’re ranked 25th in the league in sack percentage. The Indy D is seventh in the NFL in sack rate. Two of their players are tied sixth in sacks with three each.

Prop Bet One: Houston Under 2.5 TDs

Prop 2: Lions Reach 20 Points First (+110)

Our second of three Week Four NFL props focuses on the race to 20 points. The Detroit Lions are playing a team that has yet to reach 20 points this season. That team is the Dallas Cowboys. Although the Cowboys have a fine running game that’s lead by Ezekiel Elliot, their air attack has been ineffective. Dallas’ passing offense is ranked 29th in terms of efficiency. Thus far, quarterback Dak Prescott has struggled to toss for more than 200 yards. He’s averaged just 166 yards per game in 2018.

It’s true in the first two games of this season the Lions defense had a tough go of it. But last week, they controlled Tom Brady and the Pats. They limited Brady to 133 yards. On the offensive side for Detroit, the team has been good for 23.3 PPG. They’re averaging 100-plus more offensive yards per game than the Cowboys. Two D-starters are out for Dallas, DT Maliak Collins and LB Sean Lee. Without Lee on the field last year, Dallas gave up on average eight more points per game.

Prop Bet Two: Lions Get to 20 Points First

Prop 3: Dallas QB Prescott Under 220.5 YDs (-120)

You can get Prescott at over 220.5 yards today for the same price. In his best game this season, he passed for 170 yards. His worst was 160 yards. We’re going with the under on this one, as we did a few weeks ago. Although a few weeks ago it was under 240 yards. Thus, the bookies have lowered the bar for Prescott. By the way, wideout Cole Beasley has not yet caught a TD pass.

Prop Bet Three: Prescott Under 220.5 YDs
