NFL Agrees with 4 Sports Betting Companies for 2021 season

The 2021 NFL season officially begins on September 9, but the league was in the news on Monday, especially as it relates to the US sports betting industry.

The 2021 NFL season officially begins on September 9, but the league was in the news on Monday, especially as it relates to the US sports betting industry. The NFL announced that it has reached agreements with four new companies that will allow them to join the list of approved sportsbook operators.

The four companies that were added by the NFL were BetMGM, FOX Bet, PointsBet, and WynnBET. Earning a partnership with the NFL is not an easy feat as the league has made it clear that they won’t reach an agreement with every potential operator.

Caesars, DraftKings, and FanDuel were already officially sportsbook operators of the league, but there will now be seven in total. Those three companies were announced as “tri-exclusive” partners when a deal was reached, and they will have extra benefits over the four new companies.

The new operators that reached a deal with the NFL will have the right to advertise on television during select NFL broadcasts. These sportsbooks will also have the ability to buy official league data, but they were not given this information in the language of the agreement.

The National Football League has strategically chosen four of the biggest names in the US sports betting industry, and this is going to be a huge benefit for the league as well. Legal sports betting is expected to be offered inside of NFL stadiums soon, and BetMGM will be leading that charge.

BetMGM

BetMGM is the online sports betting arm of MGM Resorts International, and it is a company that has seen massive growth of late. BetMGM is just one of the platforms offered by the site, with the other being Borgata Casino, Party Poker, and Party Casino.

BetMGM is currently available in 10 states and Washington DC, but others should be on the way in the coming months.

FOX Bet

FOX Bet holds a pretty massive distinction in the US sports betting industry as it is the only sportsbook that is integrated with a media company. This makes FOX Bet an attractive partner to the NFL, especially as FOX is one of the broadcast partners already.

The FOX Bet Super 6 is another popular game offered by this company, and it is a free-to-play game that allows for more participation.

PointsBet

Few companies have made bigger moves over the last two years than PointsBet, and this new deal with the NFL will only further that progress. PointsBet is an Australian-based sportsbook that now has a US headquarters in the town of Denver, Colorado as well.

One of the features that makes PointsBet stand out from the competition is its very own points betting option that can allow bettors to win or lose large amounts of money.

WynnBET

WynnBET is a sports betting operator that is just starting to break onto the scene, but this new partnership should help it grow tremendously. WynnBET is an online sportsbook and online casino site that is using a unique and aggressive marketing campaign to attract new customers throughout the United States.
