Saturday June 6th UFC 250 Betting Guide

Nunes vs. Spencer Headlines Event from Las Vegas

The Apex in Las Vegas sets the stage for UFC 250 betting on Saturday night. The main card features 5 fights headlined by Amanda Nunes putting the featherweight championship on the line vs. Felicia Spencer. 3 of the fights are bantamweight as well so it could be a long night of fighting so we’re going to get our money’s worth.

Sean O’Malley (-550) vs. Eddie Wineland (+375)
Bantamweight

Sean O’Malley is looking like a great bet to improve his record to 12-0 as he’s a huge favorite in UFC 250 betting against Eddie Wineland (24-13-1). O’Malley is 3-0 in the UFC (2 DEC, 1KO) and holds a 3″ arm and leg reach advantage over the 35-year-old Wineland. Wineland scored a win in his last fight, but that was almost a year ago. O’Malley had an electric 1st round KO of Jose Quinonez in March.
Pick: O’Malley by KO -120

Neil Magny (-150) vs. Anthony Rocco-Martin (+120)
Welterweight

On paper Neil Magny (22-8) presents a huge matchup problem with Anthony Rocco-Martin (17-5). Magny is 3″ taller with a 6.5″ arm reach advantage and 4″ more in leg reach. Magny shook off some ring rust back in March with a decision win over Jingliang Li – his first bout since November of 2018. Rocco-Martin has won 5 of his last 6 in the UFC but hasn’t been in the octagon since a DEC win in November. Ultimately, this one could go all sorts of ways.
Pick: Magny by decision +140

UFC 250 betting
Can Rocco-Martin get an early win in this one?

Aljamain Sterling (-120) vs. Cory Sandhagen (-110)
Bantamweight

Aljamain Sterling (18-3) vs. Cory Sandhagen (12-1) has a great chance of being the fight of the night for UFC 250 betting. Combined, the fighters have won 9 straight bouts with Sterling boasting a perfect 5-0 record in the UFC. After three early finishes, Sandhagen has won the last two by decision and 3 of his 4 recent wins have gone the distance. Sandhagen has a 50% takedown accuracy and also lands 7.1 strikes/min (Sterling 4.9).
Pick: Sandhagen -110

Cody Garbrandt (-165) vs. Raphael Assuncao (+135)
Bantamweight

The UFC 250 betting co main event features Cody Garbrandt (11-3) trying to resurrect his career vs. Raphael Assuncao (27-7). Garbrandt had seemed like a force in winning his first 6 fights (4 by KO) en route to the bantamweight championship. Garbrandt dropped the belt in the first of back-to-back defeats to TJ Dillashaw in 2017 however. His last fight was March of 2019, a 1st round TKO defeat vs. Pedro Munhoz.

Can Assuncao take advantage of this opportunity as a +135 underdog? The 37-year-old has 9 years on Garbrandt and is on a 2-fight losing streak of his own. An early finish seems likely in this one, just hard to tell from who.
Pick: Fight does not go the distance -135

Amanda Nunes (-600) vs. Felicia Spencer (+400)
Featherweight

Oddsmakers aren’t expecting much of a main event in listing Amanda Nunes (19-4) the biggest favorite of the night at an incredible -600. Is a wager on Felicia Spencer with a +400 line simply the flier to take? Spencer isn’t getting much credit despite her 8-1 career record. Spencer has won 2 of her first 3 UFC fights, ending both in the 1st (SUB, KO).

Nunes is a different animal however, having defended the belt successfully six straight times. She won the title with a 1st round submission of Miesha Tate back in 2016 and only needed 0:48 to defend the belt the next fight vs. Ronda Rousey. Overall Nunes has won 10 straight, ending 7 of them early. The featherweight champ did go to a decision in her last fight though, ultimately winning out over Germaine de Randamie.
Pick: Fight does not complete 2 full rounds (Even)
