New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview

Monday Night Football returns with the New York Giants (3-6, 1-3 away) on the road facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3, 4-0 home). The Bucs look to end a two-game skid while the Giants enter fresh off a bye week and winners in two of their last three contests.

The kickoff for the prime-time clash is at 8:15 p.m. EST at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. Tampa Bay is an 11-point favorite over the Giants, and the over-under total is at 50 points.

What to Know – New York Giants

The Giants haven’t played in over two weeks and will have some of their offensive pieces back in the lineup riddled with injuries. New York bested Las Vegas their last time out but remains in the cellar of the NFC East.

New York’s offense has battled injuries to key players all season while averaging 19.9 points and 350.3 yards of offense per game. The Giants defense surrenders 24.0 points and 385.8 yards of offense to opposing teams. Shaquon Barkley and wide receiver Kenny Golladay are expected back in the lineup tonight for New York.

Daniel Jones threw for 110 yards and a touchdown, and the Giants’ defense returned an interception for a score in the Week 9 victory over the Raiders. Devontae Booker carried the ball 21 times for 99 yards, and tight end Evan Ingram led the receivers with three receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown.

New York is 5-4 against the spread this season and 3-1 ATS on the road. The Giants are 4-0-1 ATS over their last five games matching up against the Buccaneers.

What to Know – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay is happy to be home after back-to-back road losses to New Orleans and Washington. The defending Super Bowl champions still have a two-game lead in the division and have yet to lose at home.

Offensively, Tampa Bay leads the NFL in scoring, averaging 31.0 points per game and second in the league in total yards at 406.4. The defense has been the biggest concern for TB, allowing 23.6 points and 347.7 yards of total offense.

Tom Brady threw a pair of interceptions in the first quarter of last week’s loss to Washington, and the Bucs were never able to recover. Brady finished with 220 yards threw the air to go along with a pair of touchdown passes. Tampa Bay only rushed for 53 yards, with Leonard Fournette leading the way with 47 yards.

The Bucs are 3-6 ATS this year with a 3-1 mark ATS at home. Tampa Bay is 0-5 at home when playing the Giants.

The Pick is In

There is no cause for concern yet for Brady and the Bucs, but you want to see a better effort out of them tonight amongst a prime-time audience. New York gets a few of their offensive pieces back and will be well-rested for the matchup.

Tampa should win and stay perfect at home, but it’s a lot of points to give a team fresh off extended rest. Give us Giants and the points here.
