Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, who combined for 40 points in Game 1, were held to only 19 combined in Game 2. Gray finished 4-for-16, while Howard went 3-for-9 with only two rebounds.

Fever Preview – Defense is the Key
Indiana responded in Game 2 with its best defensive effort of the series. The Fever held Atlanta to 25-of-66 shooting and forced difficult looks all night. Kelsey Mitchell was the offensive leader, scoring 19 points with four assists. She is averaging 17 points through the first two games and has stepped up with Caitlin Clark out for the year.
Aliyah Boston delivered 15 points and five rebounds, finishing 7-for-12 from the floor. NaLyssa Smith added 12 points with five rebounds, and rookie Lexie Hull chipped in seven points with strong defensive work. The Fever had five players with at least seven points in Game 2, showing their ability to spread the scoring load even without their star point guard.
Injuries continue to limit Indiana’s depth, with Clark, Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, and others sidelined. Still, coach Stephanie White has leaned on her starters to play heavy minutes and maintain defensive intensity. Indiana will need another strong showing on the road, especially at the three-point line where they rank top five in shooting percentage. If they keep Atlanta under 70 again, the Fever can pull the upset.
