Both New York (6-1) and Seattle (4-3) have surprised some people this season as they square off in the Pacific Northwest for the week 8 Giants at Seahawks matchup. Both Saquon Barkley (110 yards) and QB Daniel Jones (107) topped the century mark rushing in New York’s 23-17 win at Jacksonville last weekend as +3 point underdogs.
Barkley comes into the week 8 Seahawks at Giants game as the second leading rusher in the NFL (726 yards) while Jones has added another 343 on the ground. Jones has added 6 TD passes to just two INTs in his first year running Brian Daboll’s offense and his 63.0 QBR is fifth in ESPN’s metric.
While the Giants should be able to move the ball fairly effectively on Sunday afternoon, their defense also faces a huge test with the surprising Seahawks offense. Seattle has put up 32+ points in three of their last four games and they’re finding success both on the ground and through the air.
Smith Getting the Job Done
