NFL Week 6 MNF Over Under Free Pick

Indianapolis Travels to Tennessee With a Total of 46

The loser of the NFL Week 6 MNF Over Under Free Pick is going to find themselves on the outside looking in for the divisional race as all the other teams in the AFC South will be 3-3. Of course with the ‘total’ pick, we don’t care necessarily who wins, but by how much they do it.

There are cases to be made for both the ‘over’ as well as the ‘under’ tonight. Oddsmakers originally set the number at 49 but it has been dropping faster than Rick Pitino’s resume has gone up on Monster.com. We see the total set at 46 now, but that might not be where it’s at around game time – but does that movement help or hurt?

NFL Week 6 MNF Over Under Free Pick – More than 46 Points?

Mariota is questionable, but how will his legs hold up?

There’s precedent for these two divisional rivals putting up some significant points on Monday night based on matchups of the past three seasons. They have combined for 54+ points in four of their last six matchups and surprisingly enough the Colts have won 11 straight in the matchup. Of course those offensive outputs were largely put up with Andrew Luck and Marcus Mariota under center and not tonight’s potential QB battle between Jacoby Brissett and Matt Cassell if Mariota is unable to go.

Mariota’s health after missing last week’s Titans game with hamstring issues is a major factor in the NFL Week 6 MNF Over Under Free Pick. If Mariota can go, he’ll be facing the dead last team in points allowed per game at 31.8 and the Colts are also 30th in passing yards given up per game with 294. Brissett will need to continue his improvement as well, which he has throwing for 250+ in two of the last three (157 versus Seattle). He’s got a favorable matchup with the Titans surrendering 28.4 PPG, which is 31st in the NFL.

Will The Monday Nignt Football Total Stay “Under?”

A healthy dose of Frank Gore would help tonight’s under bet. )

The Tennessee offense hasn’t looked great under Cassell as he’s throw for just 162 yards in a game and a half of work. The Titans are averaging only 12.0 PPG the last two and the Titans weren’t necessarily that good in the passing game even with Mariota as they rank 27th in yards per game through the air (183.8). Their focus will be on running the ball and thus keeping the clock moving.behind DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry, and the #7 ranked rush offense in the league.

The Colts offense may contribute to the ‘under’ as well. They have scored 25+ PPG in two of the last three, but that was against Cleveland and San Francisco. The Colts still don’t crack the top 20 in any major offensive category which includes total yards, passing, rushing, and points scored.

NFL Week 6 MNF Over Under Free Pick

The number is in a free fall regarding the NFL Week 6 MNF Over Under Free Pick  but it still seems high at 46. Mariota isn’t going to be full strength even if he does start and Brissett may struggle for the Colts under the pressure of Monday Night Football. The Colts would like to run the ball behind Frank Gore as well to try and bring their QB into the game slowly. Both defense should step up to help our side tonight.
