Bulldogs Summary

Auburn Overall

Like the Georgia offense, the Auburn attack has been good for just over 35 points per game. They’re scoring a bit more than the Bulldogs, as the Tigers have been good for 36.7 PPG. Auburn offers a more balanced attack than Georgia. QB Jarrett Stidham (68.5 COMP%, 16 TDs, 4 INTs) is an accurate passer and cool leader. His running chops are a bit better than Fromm’s. Three receivers have between 20 and 27 receptions each, but one, Ryan Davis, has 69, which is the same number as those three receivers totaled. RB Kerryon Johnson is one of the team’s primary offensive weapons with 250 carries, 1,276 yards, and 17 TDs. He’s averaging 5.6 YPA. Unfortunately, junior RB Kamryn Pettway, who has six rushes for TDs, is out.

The Auburn defense again, like the Bulldogs, is sound. They come in at 16.4 PPG, which means on average they are allowing opponents 2.6 more PPG. The Tigers have more than 70 TFL and 29 sacks. They are low on interceptions, notching only six. Junior LB Jeff Holland is very dangerous. He has four forced fumbles, 8.5 sacks, and 11.5 TFL. All of these are tops for the Tigers. DL Derrick Brown is another solid force, as he has two FF, 3.5 sacks, and 8.5 TFL.
